The finance industry requires know-how, experience, and connections. Each year Stanford Finance accepts a dedicated group of Stanford students into its Analyst Program. The program is made up of four core components:

1. A workshop series educates the Analysts, prepares them for job applications and interviews, and then teaches them the technical skills they will need once they land jobs.
2. Networking events enable the Analysts to form professional connections with visiting financial institutions, both bulge-bracket and premier boutique banks. These events also help our analysts find mentors and secure internships, often before traditional, on-campus recruiting begins.
3. A mentorship program connects each Analyst with a Stanford Finance Officer who will provide private training and advice, and a finance professional, often a Stanford Finance alum, who has been working in the industry for at least several years.
4. Access to the Alumni Database is vital. Stanford Finance graduates have gone on to lead successful careers. Once a student has been selected to be an analyst, he or she will have access to the alumni database and will gain a lifelong membership in the Stanford Finance community.

Our Analysts have a history of landing the most competitive internships in the Silicon Valley and on Wall Street. We look for candidates who are disciplined and driven. MENTORSHIP

As one of the premier Pre-Law Societies at Stanford, SPLS offers undergraduates the opportunity to develop relationships with a mentor from Stanford's law school. SPLS offers its members a simple process to find a mentor, as members are only required to fill out a request form to be matched with a current law student. SPLS members are at liberty to communicate with their mentors at their own convenience. Law school mentors serve as a means to learn about law school applications, discover the ins-and-outs of law school, and provide insight on how students can best prepare for graduate school. Alongside 1 v 1 meetings, SPLS will also host a mentor-mentee zoom conference and panel where members can learn from the experience of additional law students.

LSAT PREP

Geared at preparing students for a successful application to law school, SPLS hosts recurring LSAT prep sessions organized by TestMasters, an industry leader in test and examination preparation. These sessions are hosted 2-3 times a quarter, free of charge. LSAT prep sessions held by SPLS not only allow students to learn crucial details about the LSAT, but allow students to practice taking the LSAT in real-time, with simulated test environments that closely resemble the real thing. As students ourselves, SPLS membership entails finding suitable times for these sessions to take place, optimizing times and dates where the most students can attend.

Mission
The Design Kids is a co-ed, student-run design studio. We provide design services to student organizations, departments, and the administration at Stanford in an effort to facilitate portfolio development through real-world design projects as well as nurture community amongst students with a passion for design.

Initiatives:
1) Nurture a tight-knit co-ed design community at Stanford + bring together the design UG and graduate communities
2) Increase the presence of design on Stanford’s campus
3) Facilitate student growth through portfolio-building projects
4) Establish long-term design partnerships with student organizations, departments, and administrators on campus
5) Attract students beyond the conventions of a traditional design major and nurture collaboration between design majors and student studying other disciplines (ex: CSRE, HumBio, FemGen, AAAS, and AAS)
6) Build a design directory on campus to connect students to employers, students to students, and students to faculty/on-campus design opportunities
7) Host events such as a speaker series, a design forum/conference, and/or an annual makeathon at the d.school
8) At the end of each academic year, hosting a Year in Review celebration to celebrate our design work that year and pass out our Studio Yearbook, a zine featuring all our design work completed within that year.

Mission
The mission of the USNDA is to aid in increasing the number of
minority students entering dental schools, increasing the knowledge of
dentistry in undergraduate students, and in improving DAT scores of pre-dental undergraduates. Additionally, the USNDA will provide students with the opportunity to visit dental schools and to shadow dentists, as well as to inform students of summer programs and dental research experiences. Records will also be kept of those members accepted into various dental schools.
